Indian golfer Diksha Dagar significantly improved her position on the leaderboard during the third round of the Ladies European Tour Women’s Irish Open.
Dagar delivered a commendable four-under-par (69) round, featuring birdies on the 6th, 8th, 9th, and 12th tees.
As a result of her impressive performance, Diksha Dagar ascended to a tie for 31st place with a cumulative score of four under-par. This strategic positioning bodes well for her prospects in the final round of the tournament.
England’s Annabel Dimmock topped the leaderboard with a total score of 16 under par after three rounds. Finland’s Ursula Wikstrom followed closely at 14 under par, while Alessandra Fanali of Italy and Luna Sobron Galmes of Spain were tied for third at 12 under par.
Dagar’s consistent performance throughout the tournament has garnered significant attention from Indian golf enthusiasts. Her solid showing in Round 3 has heightened expectations for a strong finish in the concluding round. She is scheduled to tee off for her final round today at 2:20 PM IST.
